jQuery 1.3 released

Marking the 3rd birthday of jQuery, John has released version 1.3. I was curious to see the performance improvement caused by the new sizzle selector engine. According to their testing it is 49% faster than in the previous release that was already considered fast as hell. For a complete list of novelties, see the release notes. This is an archive post. Honestly i havent heard much about jTagEditor before, but apparently it got renamed as markItUp, and checking out their examples, all seems fine. It is based on jQuery and intends to be a lightweight editor that you can use to produce normal html code, but you can squeeze out bbcode, wiki or markdown syntax as well. This is an archive post.
